Initiated and co-piloted by the Hauts-de-Seine department, this new facility has several ambitions:

Support the local presence of art and design professionals

By offering economically accessible locations, a stimulating environment and support tailored to their needs, the JAD project affirms its determination to facilitate the establishment and development of businesses for professionals at the cutting edge of excellence.

These professionals, selected from an international call for candidates, will form a group with a wealth of experience and different cultures, whose complementary skills will feed into the work.

Promoting collaboration between art and design professionals

Set in an inspiring territorial environment and featuring vast shared equipped spaces, the JAD project aims to encourage encounters between the two disciplines, and to foster transmission between professionals and towards the public. A team of experts will run the site, orchestrating research, innovation and training to foster fertile dialogue between the professionals occupying the space.

Ensuring the continuity, transmission and enhancement of demanding know-how and passion

The JAD project is a laboratory of experience and a unifying place, taking into account the challenges posed by the ecological and digital transition and the need to adapt trades that have become rare. It aims to contribute to the promotion and transmission of know-how, which is an important material and immaterial part of our cultural heritage.

Offer a place to discover collaborations between design and craft trades, and the creations that emerge from them.

At the service of a collective project, JAD aims to be an open space that bears witness to fruitful cross-fertilization between the region's professions, audiences and art and cultural institutions. It is part of a policy to make culture attractive to all, offering a space for discovery, inspiration and sharing for the general public, at the heart of the Vallée de la Culture.
